As the mercury soared above 90 degrees, Stern + Associates recently headed poolside for our annual summer outing. The event marked the first agency-wide following the unveiling of our new mission statement: “Giving voice to ideas, people & organizations impacting the world.” Proudly sporting our new mission statement t-shirts, we beat the heat while enjoying the company of the voices and people who bring our mission to life daily.
Company outings are proven to play a role in building an engaging work environment with productive and happy employees. In fact, studies show companies with high employee engagement are up to 10 times more likely to see an increase in sales and profit than those with lower engagement.[i] But beyond these tangible benefits, company outings are simply fun.
This year, we made memories socializing, swimming and celebrating two upcoming weddings. Outings and events like this one are held throughout the year, helping to reward our dedication while giving us the opportunity to better know our fellow team members outside the office. From community service projects to happy hour and pool parties, our time together is as meaningful as it is entertaining.
As we mark the mid-point of summer, we are feeling refreshed and ready to continue sparking new ideas and opportunities for our agency and our clients.
