Digital Marketing Coordinator/Assistant

The Digital Marketing Coordinator/Assistant is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and execution of the marketing strategy for the Speakers division of Stern Strategy Group®. Responsibilities include updating the website (www.sternspeakers.com) and assisting with aligning the team’s use of CRM database with marketing and sales objectives.

Primary responsibilities include:

Marketing & Content

  • Assist in the development of the digital marketing strategy
  • Hands-on execution of assigned tasks of the digital marketing strategy
  • Hands-on execution of the content calendar
  • Deliver optimized content for each of the social media platforms based on the digital marketing strategy
  • Research, design and create visually appealing digital marketing tools for the sales team
  • Thoroughly researching for information that can be used for sales and marketing content
  • Lightly edit video footage
  • Write pitch blurbs, persuasive emails, and blog posts that require minimal edits
  • Generate and share ideas for new marketing opportunities that align with digital marketing strategy

Administrative Support

  • Effectively use CRM to enter sales, client, and customer onboarding information for accurate tracking, reporting and follow-up (HubSpot)
  • Monitor publications and platforms (media, social, websites, newsletters, etc.) and share appropriate news and items about clients with team
  • Daily update sternspeakers.com and content of its client pages i.e. featured articles, blog posts, videos, bios, photos, and links
  • Organize and execute internal projects tasks in support of the sales and other departments

Qualifications we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, history, communications, or other marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Exceptional writer able to effectively communicate verbally and through writing
  • At least two years of digital marketing experience preferred
  • Speakers or advisory/consulting industry experience a plus, but not mandatory
  • Experience with relevant software applications; Preferred: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro), photo editing/digital design software (Photoshop/Illustrator), WordPress, HubSpot (CRM)
  • Access to reliable transportation to attend client meetings and other professional engagements, as appropriate
